Aangan AI lets you photograph an outdoor space (garden, balcony, terrace, backyard), pick a style, and receive an AI-redesigned image plus shopping links for the products in it. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and your choices.
Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and a display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and Google account identifier from Google. Authentication is handled by our provider Supabase; we never see your password.
Photos and generated images. When you use the app you upload a photo of your space. To produce the redesign, that photo and the resulting edited image are processed by our AI providers (see Section 3) and stored temporarily in our private cloud storage. Your images are automatically deleted after a short retention window (currently 4 days).
Purchases. Credits can be bought as in-app products through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment; we receive a purchase token, product ID, and purchase status to grant your credits and prevent duplicate or fraudulent grants. We never receive or store your card or bank details.
Advertising data. The app can show rewarded ads via Google AdMob to grant free credits. AdMob may collect your advertising ID and device/ad-interaction information to serve and measure ads. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your consent and device ad settings.
App activity. We store your credit balance and your generation history (the styles you chose and the resulting images/product links) so the app can show your past designs. History follows the same short retention window as your images.
We do not collect your contacts, precise location, microphone audio, or health data.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help run the app:

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. Some are located outside your country, so your data may be processed internationally (see Section 7).
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Delete account. You can also request deletion via the web on our Account Deletion page.
Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, credit balance, saved designs, and stored images. For fraud prevention we retain only a one-way cryptographic hash of your email address (from which the email cannot be recovered); this stops the free starter credits from being farmed by repeatedly creating and deleting accounts. Purchase records required for legal/tax/accounting purposes may be retained by Google Play as required by law.
Depending on your region you may have additional rights (access, correction, portability, objection). If you are in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Contact us at arsh@clickretina.com to exercise them.
Our AI and infrastructure providers may process your data in countries other than yours (including the United States). Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards.
Aangan AI is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from children under the age required by your local law. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), private image storage accessible only via short-lived signed links, and row-level access controls so users can only reach their own data. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top, and where appropriate we will notify you in the app.
